In other news - Yay, we're midway through the week!  Our weather's been typically all-seasons-in-one-day lately.  Monday morning woke us to chilly grey skies and drizzle, then, by afternoon, we were poaching in humid sunshine & ended up sleeping with the covers kicked off (and the mozzie spray at hand!).

It's Package Project time and I received my partner's name and URL last week.  Looking forward to gathering snippets to parcel up but it's real nerve-wracking when your partners blog is full of delicious home-made goodies (edible and not) and you're thinking, um, I guess my hand-made trinkets wouldn't quite fit the bill.  Ha ha.  Ah well, we shall see what ends up being mailed across the ocean in the end.

We'll soon be interviewing to become registered as host parents (weekends, holidays, perhaps longer periods) at a local children's home.  Exciting times.  DH was fostered at 13 -- he has always pictured us with an older child, I think.  Looking forward to meeting the social worker, the house mothers and the children.
