I have done the deed.

And the deed is?

Settling with/on the fact that I am now a Blackberry owner.

Yup - I said I wouldn't do it. I said I get enough screen-time all day, every day, already. Sigh.

But, after a week of waiting for a Nokia C3 (my first choice of handset upgrade) to arrive, then being told it was out of stock, so choosing another handset - a Nokia E5.... which then turned into a 3 week wait (during which I was realllllly patient and contacted no-one in case I damaged someone's person!)... after which I was finally told that, sorry, even Cell C management don't know when the Nokias are arriving, so...

I upped my monthly contract and went for it -- a Blackberry Curve 9300. It's really pretty. There, I said it. :) - Chrome or silvery in colour, with a nice rubberized feel to the back cover. I have to admit that I'm very grateful that I had last month to practice on my DH's, so all the menus, icons, etc, are fairly natural to use so far.

Best bonus was downloading Whatsapp and being able to instant message, for free, from ANYwhere, with my brother in Ireland -- including sending photos through as well. Deeevine, I tell you. I've met my neice once, when she was 4 months old -- She is now 3 years old! Madness! This little person; totally gorgeous!, who I won't personally know as a "proper" aunty because they live so far away. Sigh.

Anyhow. That's all folks. More good news later this week. Life has suddenly got good. Great, in fact!
